Next Race: 28-29 March 2009

Well, Pukekohe wasn't quite what he had hoped for... Blue Skies, new brake pads and good fast racing.. Suffice to say we had pretty much the opposite.

Practice day was eventful, once the brakes were bedded in we were achieving good laptimes and i was feeling very very good about my skills and how the car was handling. Saturday rolled around, and so did the black clouds.  Lap one of qualifying in the morning left me hard up against ford mountain with a battered car and battered confidence..

I was lucky our club were so eager to help out, plus with the help of my crew we *thought we* were ready to go back out for race one.. Steering was a shambles, and only the morning after the crash did we find out why.. We used Rubber bushes rather than the metal ones we were supposed to have.. A trip back to the track and we found the parts we needed. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to get home to get the car and back to the track for racing otherwise we would've been there.. Shame but looking forward to manfield with open eyes

This brings me to my next point,  Our team needs come cash to get us to manfield, we hope you are able to help out so we put a donation button on the site here, please show your support and help us get the team to manfield

DONATE

I would like to also thank everyone who helped and offered support, parts to help me get through the weekend. In particular my father for getting on his knees and working through the rain, Daniel for being support and the Mazda Pro7 club for supporting me and helping out wherever they could.
